Dr. Makary has over two decades of experience in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Hepatology, having worked in prestigious institutions across multiple countries, He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, ensuring that patients receive compassionate care and personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. Dr. Makary is committed to providing the highest standard of care to his patients.

Dr. Makary has been a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist since 2008. In 2000, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery with Honours from the University of Cairo. He trained in a busy, advanced Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Liver Transplant Centre. In 2008, he earned a master’s degree in Gastrointestinal, Liver, and Infectious Diseases from the University of Cairo. Additionally, he holds a Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology from the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

Dr. Makary completed his Fellowship at St George Hospital in Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). With extensive experience in managing gastrointestinal and liver diseases, he is accredited for gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
